Terms and conditions
Dorset Thatchers provides roof thatching, re-thatching and repair services using water reed and long straw. We offer a free site visit and a written condition report with a written estimate that sets out scope, materials and expected lifespan.
Estimates and payment
Written estimates describe the work, materials and timings. Payment terms, deposits and final balance are set out in the written estimate and must be met as stated.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate property details, access for site visits and any photographs needed to prepare an estimate. Where work affects a listed building you must obtain required consents; we will advise but you remain responsible for applications.
Changes, cancellations and delays
Requests to change or cancel work should be made in writing. We are not liable for delays caused by planning processes, weather, supplier shortages or other events outside our control.
Liability and limits
Our liability for loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of the work we performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business or loss of property value.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
